Globalstar First Launch Rescheduled

CAPE CANAVERAL AIR STATION, Florida — February 5, 1998 — Officials scrubbed today's launch of a Boeing Delta II expendable launch vehicle carrying four Globalstar satellites due to a forecast of continued high ground and upper level winds.

The next attempt has been confirmed for Saturday, February 14, 1998. The launch sequence will begin per the orignal schedule. The launch window will remain open from 5:22 pst - 6:47 pst.
